Foldsheet

Bulletins, newsletters and flyers where things stay where you put them.

A simple page-layout tool for the people who used Microsoft Publisher. It opens your .pub files, prints folded booklets in the right order, and never moves your boxes around.

Start a document Open a Publisher file

Runs in your browser on Windows, Mac and Chromebook. No account, no installation, no subscription. Your files stay on your computer.

Have Microsoft Publisher files? Open them here.

They become editable pages

Text boxes, pictures, shapes and tables land where they were. Change the date, swap an announcement, print. Not a flat PDF.

Nothing is uploaded

The file is read by your own browser, on your own computer. Names, addresses and prayer lists never leave the building.

Honest about the gaps

Fonts you don't have are replaced with look-alikes of identical width, and a note tells you exactly what changed. Old-style clip art is the one thing that doesn't come across.

Microsoft removes Publisher from Microsoft 365 on 1 October 2026. Your files don't have to go with it. Foldsheet is an independent product and is not affiliated with Microsoft.

Folded booklets, done for you

Work on pages in order

Page 1, page 2, page 3, page 4. You never think about which page goes next to which.

Print on both sides and fold

Foldsheet puts pages 4 and 1 on one side of the sheet and 2 and 3 on the other. Works for 4, 8, 12 or more pages, on Letter, Legal, Tabloid, A4 or A3.

Preprinted shells too

Print just the words onto the colour bulletin shells you already buy. Use a landscape page and leave the art to the shell.

Made for the office, not the design studio

Church and parish offices

The weekly bulletin, the order of service, the funeral program.

School offices

The newsletter, the certificate, the flyer for Friday.

Clubs, societies and small nonprofits

The programme, the appeal letter, the poster for the hall.

Questions

Does it upload my files anywhere?
No. Documents are stored in your browser on your computer, and Publisher files are converted right there too. Nothing is sent to us.
Does it work on a Mac or a Chromebook?
Yes. Anything with a current browser: Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox.
Will my Publisher file look exactly the same?
Close, and editable. Positions, sizes, pictures and colours come across. Fonts you don't have are swapped for look-alikes with the same widths, so lines break in the same places. A note lists everything that changed so you can check.
What about text that flows from one box to another?
Each box keeps its own text, exactly as it appeared. The link between boxes isn't kept yet.
How do I make a PDF?
Choose Print, then pick "Save as PDF" as the printer. Print shops and bulletin services take PDF.
Can I keep working if I'm offline?
Once the page has loaded, yes. Your documents are on your computer.
Where is my document if I switch computers?
Use Download to save it as a file, email it to yourself or put it on a USB stick, then Open a file on the other computer.
